You see, Don Herbert was, and will forever remain, Mr. Wizard. Mr. Wizard’s World was a science related TV show on Nickelodeon that I loved in my childhood. Mr. Herbert would show all kind of crazy and fun experiments to make science fun to learn. As the kid that took apart everything and loved to know how things worked, this show helped me see great and interesting things.

Rest in peace Mr. Wizard and thanks for fueling the mind of this, then, future Mechanical Engineer.

First of all, this picture is of an article detailing a ceremony where my grandfather was recognized as a Patron of the Arts for the Dominican Republic. My grandfather is a poet and actor that performed in Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and others. This is very cool…

Second, tomorrow we go to the hospital to bring little Vittoria into the world. Keep an eye on this space as I will be doing updates from the hospital to the moblog and maybe some posts.

We went to the doctor today and the sonogram revealed a healthy baby girl! We are very excited!

Little Vittoria Erin Amell will make her debut in mid May. (In case you are curious – I found the name in a book I read a while back and thought it was very unique and beautiful – Ricky agreed and it was settled!)

We are still working on the whole big sister thing with Isabel…I know she will come around! She still is a little young to grasp the concept but will be a great big sister!
